Road Trip!  The wife, seven other friends, and I took a trip to celebrate Em’s b-day on St. Patty’s day. Mohegan Sun is a drive, but I was psyched because I had never been to the Casino, and my buddy at Truefrom Concrete loves to go.

We rolled in at about 2pm on Saturday. My car was about 15 minutes late because the glowing dot on google maps/iphone would confuse my navigator quite often (stay frosty). I’m not a Lord of the Rings fan like he is, but I definitely got the smeogeol vibe off him. I swore I heard him say “precious” and pet my phone… awkward. Anyway, we got there and most of us were starving for food and beverage. So we met up and stared at the map looking for some options.

Mohegan Sun is huge, clean, and more of a glorified mall with gambling than your average Atlantic City Casino. We found an Irish pub titled “The Dubliner”. A perfect complement to our St. Patties day celebration… Or so I thought.
